Singapore National Day Charity Golf Tournament
The Singapore National Day Charity Golf Tournament organised by the Singapore Business Group, Vietnam was held on 7th August 2010 at Song Be Golf Resort.
Out of 133 golfers, approximately 30 golfers flew in from Singapore to participate in this charitable event. Other than prizes for the best nett & best gross winners, participants had a chance to win Hole-In-One prizes on the 4 Par 3 holes - 2 Mercedes-Benz cars sponsored by Mercedes; a Spa bath from Grand Sun & an Individual One-Year Term Membership from Song Be Golf.
After the tournament, participants were treated to a sumptuous buffet spread of Asian cuisine prepared by Song Be’s very own kitchen.
To raise additional funds, sponsored items such as golf clubs, golf bags, cameras, Canon printers & a Yamaha motorcycle were auctioned off.
Proceeds from this event will be used to finance the educational needs of Vietnamese children from poor families.
