Job Description |
Reporting to the F&B Marketing Manager, the candidate will have the following job description: - The F&B Marketing & Guest Relation Officer assists in the control of F&B Marketing and Front line Guest Relation staff personal be multi-skilled in all F&B operations including cashiering, banqueting, and catering. - Ensures that the guests are provided with the service level in keeping with Resort’s service standards and policies. - Provide executive level administrative support for the Office of F&B Marketing, Promotion and Guest Relation. - Responsible for all duties related to daily office administration, event planning, special projects, and correspondence for the F&B marketing operation. - Determine the demand for products and services offered by department and identify potential customers. - Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the department's profits and ensure customers are satisfied. - Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services. - Responsible for the coordination of all marketing activities of F&B department; - Ensure marketing activities are in compliance with resort’s marketing rules and regulations. - Develop various marketing concepts, objectives, materials, advertisements, programs, and other special events approved by senior management and the Board of Directors. - Provide guidance and coordinates implementation efforts of new or existing products and services. - Be the primary contact for public relations and advertising, and certain business development activities that promote the products and services of the resort. Required Skills/Experience/ Education |
- Degree in marketing or related field, and 2 - 4 years total experience in a hospitality or hotel with direct supervisory experience over a sales team or an equivalent combination of education and work fluent English. Other languages an advantage. - Should be comfortable looking for new businesses and handling enquiries. - Ability to review sales contracts an advantage. - Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees. - Ability to read and write reports in English and Vietnamese. - Must understand and be able to use Microsoft Office Software package. - Ability to lead and supervise a team. - Ability to express ideas and issues clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. - Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with others, both internally and externally. - Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays |
